Often times, you have a vision, and when you try to add it to your yarn base, it doesn't quite sing to your vision. Most times, this experience is disappointing, but once in a great while, it just makes you want to stand on the highest mountain and sing. This would be one of those moments.

Chinook was inspired by the 2009 Sock Summit, and submitted in the Dye For Glory contest on Ravelry. It came out positively stunning and the name suits it. When I think of the Pacific Northwest, I think of ocean waves beating against the seaside cliffs. Atop those cliffs, are dense forests, that provide life to so many different species...including man.

This colorway is offered on 5 different base yarns, so be sure to choose base yarn upon check out. All base yarns (except for the sport) are machine wash cold / tumble dry on low. 7-8 sts per inch. Sport knits at 5-6 sts per inch.
